Discovering the Gardens of Étretat

Head for the famous Côte d'Albâtre!

This is where you will find the Jardins d'Étretat, a unique and poetic place, 1 hour away from the Château de Brumare.
These neo-futuristic gardens are a unique concept, originally created in the 19th century on the property of a Parisian actress, Madame Thébault.

Inspired by the work of the artist Claude Monet, the actress wanted to combine avant-garde elements with the painter's impressionist inspirations.
In 2017, the Russian landscape architect, Alexander Grivko, restored the site.

Today, the Gardens of Étretat are organised into several areas:
  • The Avatar Garden
  • The Downstream Garden
  • The Impressions Garden
  • The Upstream Garden
  • The Zen Garden
  • The Emotions Garden
  • The Channel Garden

Each area has its own atmosphere: a real invitation to travel to a magical world.

Don't forget to end your trip by discovering the magnificent cliffs of Étretat.

Practical information :
Address: Avenue Damilaville, 76790 Étretat
Opening hours: 10am to 7pm, Monday to Sunday
Please note! The gardens are not accessible for persons with reduced mobilty.
