Visit Rouen
A 40 minute drive from the Château de Brumare

A city of Art and History, Rouen has many surprises in store for you.
Start your visit with the famous and unmissable Notre-Dame Cathedral, a sublime religious building whose spire rises to 151 metres.

Continue your discovery by strolling through the pretty streets of old Rouen and admire its beautiful half-timbered houses.
On your way, you will find the Gros-Horloge: an architectural ensemble consisting of a Gothic belfry and a sublime clock face dating from the Renaissance.

  • Sword Beach, 1h10 away. It is the beach where the Franco-British forces landed. In addition to the beach, you can visit the Atlantic Wall Museum, housed in a large and impressive bunker.
  • Juno Beach, the beach assigned to the Canadian forces, is an hour and a half away. Visit the Juno Beach Centre which pays tribute to the fallen just a few steps from the beach.
